The communications consultancy, Torres y Carrera, ended 2018 with sales of over €2.8M, 22% more than in 2017. Thanks to these figures, the firm has consolidated itself among the main companies in the sector in our country, where it is placed 17th in the CNAE (National Classification of Economic Activities) Public Relations ranking drawn up by the INE (National Statistics Institute).

The company’s economic performance in multi-year terms is very positive. In fact, its sales have almost doubled in the last five years.

In recent years, Torres y Carrera has invested heavily in Research and Development and in talent, a commitment that the company sees as key to its economic growth. “Through the project En tiempo de dragones (‘In times of dragons’), we began a cycle to redefine both the company and the services we provide. The effort made to place ourselves at the forefront of communication trends has been very significant, and its return is beginning to become evident”, explains Paula Carrera, the firm’s chairman.

The company is currently carrying out a research project on social fatigue through the documentary “Kómoda, la vida sin fuelle” (“Comfortable, life without steam”), directed by Douglas Belisario and featuring the actor Nicolás Coronado.

Torres y Carrera, founded in 2003, has a team of 40 professionals and offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Vigo and Valencia. Throughout its fifteen years of life, the company has become one of the most recognised in its sector, both nationally and internationally. In December 2018, it won its last award for the short film Mañana y Siempre (“Tomorrow and Always”), from the Tus Huesos (“Your Bones”) campaign. The consulting firm is part of COMbyCOM, a network of independent agencies which has a presence in various Latin American countries.
