The strike by security staff at 11 airports in Germany, including Frankfurt, will cause the cancellation or delay of 1,100 flights and affect some 200,000 passengers on Thursday, according to data from the airport association ADV, shared by the DPA news agency.
The eleven airports affected by the stoppage called by the Verdi union will be: Frankfurt, Hamburg, Bremen, Berlin, Berlin, Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Hanover, Stuttgart, Erfurt and Dresden.
