Havas Media has been selected as the new agency to carry out the strategy, planning and amplification of media content for Hijos de Rivera, the century-old Galician company that has managed to transfer its passion for the brewing tradition to the world.
Havas Media will be responsible for the advertising management of the group’s brands such as Estrella Galicia, Cervezas 1906 and Cabreiroá, among others. The awarding of this account comes after a competition in which other agencies in the sector participated. Until now, Ymedia (now called iProspect) was the Spanish company’s media agency.
One of the objectives of this agreement with Havas Media is to continue driving the company’s growth strategy, generating media experiences that have a relevant impact on the consumers of all its brands. José Gabriel Estrada, Global Omnichannel Manager at Hijos de Rivera, acknowledged the work done by Havas Media during the competition: “It was not an easy decision but in the end we chose a team of professionals and the value proposition that was most aligned with our vision and our way of understanding innovation in advertising and marketing”.
For his part, Miguel Mira, CEO of Havas Media, says he is “very grateful for the trust they have placed in us and, especially excited about the opportunity to collaborate with a company with which we share a history of pioneering family business in its sector, its non-conformist character and its values”.
During this year, Havas Media has managed to maintain great clients, such as Fundació “la Caixa”, AC Marca or Hyundai and Kia, and has won others of great relevance such as Miele or Unicef, as well as Hijos de Rivera.
