Brussels’ coup against democracy in Romania is consummated under the shadow of Soros and his NGO’s
The justice system of Romania, by a majority of ten to four, has dealt an unprecedented blow to Western democracies. After the annulment of a first-round election that took place with apparent normality on December 6, 2024 — citing an alleged, unproven Russian interference — the patriotic candidate Călin Georgescu has been expelled from the electoral race for the second round, scheduled for May 4.
On this occasion, they claimed that the rejection of his candidacy was due to “irregularities both in form and substance,” since, according to them, his financial statement shows discrepancies compared to the one he filed in the November 2024 elections (a detail that, if not accompanied by evidence supporting potential crimes, is not very revealing).
The relevant body made this decision just days after it became known that, according to new polls, Călin Georgescu was leading by a large margin over the second candidate (almost double), surpassing the 40% vote threshold.
The sovereigntist candidate, who also faced detention just days ago for alleged “hidden financing from Moscow,” responded to the news with a message shared on social media: “A direct blow to the heart of global democracy! I have one more message! If democracy falls in Romania, all democratic countries will fall. This is just the beginning. It’s that simple! Europe is now a dictatorship, Romania is under tyranny!”
The Romanian people reacted to the “blow” against democracy by taking to the streets, forcing the police to indiscriminately charge the crowds, which led politicians like George Simion (president of the sovereigntist party Alliance for the Union of Romanians and vice president of the European ECR group) to call for an end to the “repression.” “Romania is a totalitarian police state. Now, tear gas is being used against the Romanian people, who are shouting in front of the Central Electoral Office against the endless abuses and dictatorship. We want FREEDOM!”
The tentacles of Soros George Soros, the controversial “philanthropist” who has influenced numerous nations with the aim of implementing progressive policies and encouraging illegal immigration while destabilizing them (evidenced by his influence in the separatist coup of October 1), had already acknowledged founding numerous foundations in Romania in 2005 to “prepare the ground for a democratic transition.” He was the first foreigner to arrive in Romania after the fall of Ceaușescu in 1989.
Now, taking advantage of his ideological alignment with the current leaders in Brussels, several NGOs established in this country have met with the Romanian government in recent days to devise a plan that would prevent Georgescu from winning the election.
The last meeting took place on March 3 in Bucharest under the name “Roundtable of Stakeholders.” According to Romanian journalists such as Iosefina Pascal and billionaire Elon Musk, the purpose of this meeting was to establish mechanisms to eliminate social media content that could affect the plans of European bureaucrats in the Romanian elections.
They also warned that pro-Brussels NGOs, backed by Soros and (until recently) USAID, were organizing a protest on March 15 with the intent to pressure the judicial system to block Călin Georgescu’s presidential candidacy, considering him a threat to globalist interests and winner of the canceled previous election.
