Hotwire’s parent company increases revenues by 20% and EBITDA by 40% last year
Enero Group, the communications group to which the communications consultancy Hotwire belongs in Spain, increased its revenues by 20% and EBITDA by 40% in its last financial year, which ended on 30 June.
The holding company’s results exceeded the forecasts the group made to the Australian Stock Exchange in June, improving the projected figures and achieving a 20% increase in revenues and a 34% to 36% increase in operating EBITDA.
As such, revenue for the holding company to which Hotwire belongs has grown by more than 42% in just over 24 months. Since 2017, the January group’s annual revenue has grown from $100m to $193m in the last financial year, at the same time as the group has seen operating EBITDA grow from 10% in 2017 to 32% in FY2021-22.
Enero Group CEO Brent Scrimshaw says: “In today’s dynamic global marketplace, brands need to rapidly evolve and embrace digital transformation to ensure the success, continuity and leadership of their businesses; and with our existing business combined with the recent acquisitions of digital marketing agencies ROI DNA and GetIT, we are well positioned to accelerate this transformation for our clients and the brands we work with.
Hotwire has grown in all markets where it operates, particularly in the US, UK and Australia. In addition, the communications consultancy continues to expand its global footprint with the addition of two new marketing agencies, ROI DNA and GetIT last month, strengthening the brand’s presence in North America and the Asia-Pacific region.
Scrimshaw said that, going forward, the company’s strategy will be to offer “high-level marketing and communications services. Our business is now focused on continuing to support brands in their transformation, creative use of technology and data. In this regard, thanks to the experience and capabilities of our agencies, we are in a privileged position to continue to grow sustainably in the coming months”.
In addition to Hotwire, Enero Group is made up of agencies such as BMF and CPR.
