Sonia Pacheco, new Global Chief Marketing Officer of VASS Group
Sonia Pacheco has been appointed as the new Global Chief Marketing Officer of VASS Group and a member of its Management Committee. With this appointment, she will be responsible for leading the branding, corporate marketing and communications areas in the main geographies in which the group operates, where she will help drive the VASS@400 plan, launched in early 2021 and backed by US private equity firm One Equity Partners (“OEP”).

With extensive professional experience within the technology and digital sector in the areas of Marketing, Communication and PR, Sonia Pacheco holds a Master’s degree in Tourism from the University of Earth Sciences and Environmental Management in Wroclaw (Poland) and an Executive Master’s degree in Digital Business from ESADE Business School.
Prior to joining VASS Group, Pacheco was Director of Marketing and Communication for EMEA at Globant, a technology multinational and one of the strongest IT companies worldwide, where she led the areas of corporate marketing, communication and employer branding in the EMEA region. Leading, among others, their brand launch in the region.
Previously, , one of the most important in terms of B2B digital business, technology and innovation, where she had the opportunity to contribute significantly to create and consolidate one of the main global platforms for networking, knowledge and B2B technology deal-making in Spain.
In 2021, she was recognised as ‘Marketing Director 2021’ by ‘Byte’ magazine. She is a member of EJE&CON (Ejecutivas y Consejeras) and MujeresTech, as well as a Board member of the ESADE alumni Digital & Innovation Club.
