The warning of a retired colonel in the United Kingdom: ‘The country is on the brink of civil war due to the alliance between Islamists and leftists against the people’
Despite Orwellian repression of anti-immigration opinions on social media—over 4,000 arrests—the warning of a retired UK colonel seems prescient, as the British people erupt in massive protests and campaign to raise the St. George’s flag wherever patriots see a Palestinian flag.
However, it is very likely that this confrontation between the native population and the elites in the United Kingdom will not have a happy ending; the British network is crowded with analysts, commentators, and experts warning of the imminence of civil war.
One of the latest to issue this warning, in an interview with podcaster Conor Tomlinson, is retired Colonel Richard Kemp, who has been part of the Joint Intelligence Committee. Kemp believes that a civil war in the country is now inevitable because politicians are unwilling to take meaningful action to address the social collapse.
The predictable alliance “between the far left and Islamist extremists” will come into violent conflict with the largely conservative British people, causing widespread and prolonged unrest, the military officer predicts.
Kemp, who fought against the insurgency in Northern Ireland, served in the Gulf War, in Bosnia, and commanded forces in Afghanistan, claims that the agitators are “heavily funded by our international enemies such as Russia, China, Iran, and other countries as well.”
Kemp sees a four-year horizon before the outbreak of armed conflict. “I think there is a high probability; I don’t know the exact timeframe, but I would dare to predict not just civil disturbances, but a civil war in the United Kingdom in the coming years if this situation continues, which I believe it will,” he says.
“I hope I’m wrong, but I think I know that there is no political solution to the situation the UK faces today,” Kemp declares, adding: “When I say there is no solution, I don’t mean that one doesn’t exist, but that none of our politicians are willing to accept it… because they are afraid to do anything meaningful.”
