Ouigo will inaugurate its third line in Spain this Thursday 27 April, connecting the Madrid-Chamartín-Clara Campoamor station with the Albacete-Los Llanos and Alicante-Terminal stations in less than two and a half hours.
The first passenger service will depart from Alicante at 2 p.m. and will arrive in Madrid at around 4.23 p.m.
The line will have two daily return journeys (4 trips) and tickets, which have been available for purchase since 28 March, start at a general fare of 9 euros, with a flat fare of 5 euros for children aged between 4 and 13 and free for children up to the age of 3, provided they are travelling in the arms of an adult.
“Alicante will have a direct connection with the financial heart of Madrid, while Madrid will have a new window to the Mediterranean Sea, after last October’s start of service on the Madrid-Valencia line with three daily return journeys,” the company said.
