San Fernando to celebrate ‘Trade Month’ in September
The City Council of San Fernando de Henares continues to develop actions aimed at promoting and boosting local establishments, encouraging consumption within the city. Thus, this 2023, the Commerce Week is transformed into Commerce Month, with activities that will begin on 4 September and will last until the 24th of that month.
Training courses during the Month of Commerce in San Fernando de Henares
Among the initiatives that will take place this month, two training courses stand out, which will be carried out in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce..:
Course ‘How to design your shop to encourage impulse buying’.
Participants will work on important subjects such as ‘silent selling’, loyalty cards and making the most of the product.

Course ‘How to improve the customer experience to sell more’.
Attendees will delve into concepts related to advice on the use and maintenance of the product, managing waits, what measures to take in the event of incidents or monitoring buyer losses.

Magical Shops in the municipality
One of the most important events will be ‘Magical Shops’, which is being organised by the Directorate General of Commerce of the Community of Madrid in conjunction with the Consistory.
During this day there will be ‘street marketing’ actions, aimed at boosting sales with a fair of fantasy aesthetics that will offer a dozen activities: stalls, shows and unique and fun spaces for all ages. There will be no shortage of gifts for shopping in the neighbourhood shops. It will take place on 16 September, from 10:00 to 14:00.
Back to School’ campaign
Organised by Forum, the San Ferrando de Henares Traders’ Association, in collaboration with the Town Hall, it will be held from 4 to 24 September, and consists of a promotion involving the delivery of scratch cards to participating traders, which they will give to customers for each purchase. Customers who get winning cards will receive an immediate discount from the merchant with a total prize of 1,500 €, distributed in 400 winning scratch cards, distributed as follows:
€500 on 50 scratch cards of €10 each.
500 on 100 scratch cards worth €5 each.
500 € in 250 scratch cards of €2 each.
Subsequently, Forum will make the payments to the winning businesses that give them the scratch cards and winning scratch cards together with their purchase tickets. Scratch and win cards will not be accepted if they do not have the purchase ticket of each establishment stapled to them.
