Patrimonio Nacional will open all its palaces and monasteries to the public on 15 August to facilitate visits during the bank holiday of the Virgin of the Ascension.
Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of these sites or on the websites of National Heritage and the Royal Collections Gallery.
Palaces, monasteries and the Royal Collections Gallery
The Royal Palaces of Madrid, La Granja de San Ildefonso, Aranjuez and El Pardo will be open from 10:00 to 19:00. The Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial and the Museum of Falúas de Aranjuez will have the same opening hours. The Royal Collections Gallery will be open from 10:00 to 20:00.
In addition, the Casita del Príncipe de El Escorial will be open from 12:00 to 19:00. Those wishing to visit the Royal Monasteries of Patrimonio Nacional will be able to do so in the morning, from 10:00 to 15:00.
The Pantheon of Spain will be open free of charge between 10:00 and 15:00. In all areas access will be facilitated until one hour before the monument closes.
