Vueling will operate 462 flights across its network on Monday after cancelling 58 in advance and as a precautionary measure due to the cabin crew strike called by the STAVLA union, the majority of these workers.
According to the company, 82% of the flights scheduled for tomorrow will operate normally at Barcelona airport, 91% in the rest of Spain and 92% internationally.
Tomorrow will be the fourth day of strike action by Vueling cabin crew called by the STAVLA union, the majority of Vueling cabin crew.
The union has called a strike every Friday, Sunday and Monday between November and 31 January 2023, as well as on 1 November, 6, 8, 24 and 31 December, and 5 January.
Yesterday morning, Sunday, the day on which STAVLA also called a strike, the airline operated normally after having cancelled 64 flights as a precautionary measure and will operate a total of 495 flights throughout the day, 89 % of those scheduled.
95 % of the customers affected by the strike have already been rebooked on other aircraft or have requested a voucher or reimbursement of the ticket, while the remaining 5 % are still waiting to choose their preferred option.
