After successfully completing the process corresponding to the IOSA audit by the certifying entity ARGUS PROS, belonging to the SGS group, Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas achieves today this prestigious certification from IATA (International Air Transport Association).
The IOSA certification, which stands for “IATA Operational Safety Audit”, is an evaluation system of international validity created by IATA, which promotes the integral surveillance of safety. Its purpose is to assess an airline’s operational and control systems. All IATA members are registered with IOSA, the certification standard par excellence that ensures that the airline complies with the requirements of international norms and standards.
The audit was comprehensive and inspected each of the airline’s operational departments, including on-site verifications of its operational processes, both on the ground and in flight. The auditors came away with a very positive impression of the organisation and the Plus Ultra team.
