EY hires Eduardo Madina to strengthen its Public Positioning department
EY reinforces its Public Positioning area, with the signing of Eduardo Madina, as Senior Advisor of the firm, a position that is part of Goyo Panadero’s team. The socialist politician, who will combine this position with that of Strategy partner of the consultancy firm Harmon, will be responsible for boosting the visibility and reputation of the consultancy firm at national level.
Madina holds a degree in Contemporary History from the University of Deusto and a Master’s degree in International Relations and European Integration. After teaching at the Carlos III University of Madrid, he was a socialist deputy in Congress, secretary general of the parliamentary group between 2009 and 2014 and a member of the federal leadership of the PSOE between 2008 and 2014. In consulting, before joining Harmon, he was director of Kreab Research Unit and partner of the firm from 2017 to 2021.
According to Madina, “at this time of social and business changes that we are going through, more than ever it is necessary to open new windows that allow us to take advantage of all the opportunities to advance in dialogue and in the impact economy, and to increase the visibility and reputation of organisations. Joining EY in this scenario is particularly exciting, both because of the leadership that this Firm is leading, and because of the talent of the professionals that make up the Firm”.
For his part, the Chairman of EY said that “we are fully convinced that Eduardo Madina’s career and experience will contribute to strengthening our reputation as creators of economic and social value and promoters of humanist capitalism. His contribution to the positioning of our Firm will be key to the achievement of our objectives in a constantly changing and redefining environment”.
Madina’s appointment comes months after Goyo Panadero’s team recruited Paco González Paz -former Sareb’s dircom- as Brand, Marketing and Communication Director (BMC) of EY Spain.
