Harmon lands in Portugal through a partnership with consultancy Generator
Harmon lands in Portugal through an alliance with the corporate communications and public affairs consultancy Generator. The Portuguese firm, which has been operating in Lisbon since 2000, has a stable portfolio of clients in the financial, healthcare, digital and aviation sectors, among others, and is developing projects in the African markets of Cape Verde and Angola.
The alliance between Harmon and Generator in Portugal will be led by Luis Rosendo, who has more than twenty-five years of experience as an entrepreneur in the field of communication. In 1994, he was the driving force behind the communications agency NR Consulting, once associated with Hill & Knowlton’s Portuguese operation. After founding Generator in 2000, he was also managing director of Young & Rubicam PR, the agency associated with Burson-Marsteller in Portugal, between 2013 and 2017. Rosendo has a background in communication management from EFAP (École Française des Attachés de Presse et de Communication) and in business administration from AESE/IESE.
“Harmon’s vocation under the umbrella of non-market strategies is to offer integrated services, blurring the boundaries between the classic disciplines of our sector, transcending them to provide creativity and efficiency. Our vision of our clients’ activity in Spain and Portugal is equally comprehensive, as many organisations have Iberia as their region of reference. We are happy to strengthen with Generator the design of solutions for the Iberian market and to reinforce the non-market agenda there,” explains Carmen Basagoiti, president of Harmon.
The alliance will be led by Luis Rosendo, who has more than twenty-five years of experience as an entrepreneur in the field of communication.
“I am convinced that bringing together the energy, solvency and freshness of Harmon with the experience and market knowledge that we have at Generator will be a revulsive for the corporate affairs industry in Portugal,” says Luis Rosendo, president of Generator.
Founded last year, Harmon is a strategic consulting firm that advises organisations on how to interpret their environment and connect with their stakeholders through non-market strategies. It currently has a team of more than 60 professionals, with clients ranging from Ibex and Nasdaq listed companies to family-owned, industrial and financial sector companies, professional associations and startups.
