Caixabank is the financial institution with the most digital users in Spain
Caixabank is the financial institution with the most traffic to its digital banking in Spain, according to GfK DAM data for last November.
This entity receives an average daily audience of 3.5 million users. And during the whole of the reference month it reached 11.4 million visitors. This figure coincides with the number of customers Caixabank has in its digital banking: 11 million, the highest in the sector in Spain.
Also in the top ten of Spanish banking is Imagin, Caixabank’s exclusively digital bank. This subsidiary has a daily audience of almost 770,000 users and reached a total of 2.6 million unique browsers in November.
According to the GfK DAM measurement, the second largest bank in terms of digital audience is BBVA, with an average of 2.7 million monthly users and 10 million unique visitors.
Openbank leads online banking
Santander is third, with an average daily audience of 1.7 million users and 6.3 million unique users for the month. Its subsidiary Openbank is also among the top ten digital banks in Spain, with 2.8 million unique monthly users. It is, in fact, the online bank with the most unique users.
After Santander comes the first bank of international origin: ING Direct. The Dutch bank has an average daily audience in Spain of 1.6 million users and 5.9 million monthly users.
In fifth position is Sabadell, with almost one million daily visitors to its digital banking and 4 million monthly.
Bankinter (2.3 million unique monthly users), Unicaja (2.1 million) and WiZink (1.8 million) close the top ten.
