
Starbucks Rewards loyalty programme arrives in Spain
Starbucks has announced the launch of its highly anticipated and successful “Starbucks Rewards” loyalty programme in Spain. With this action, the brand operated by the Alsea group follows in the footsteps of other countries such as France, where it has more than 100,000 members after months in operation. In the United States, it has more than 28 million active members and is one of the main means of payment at national level.
The Starbucks Rewards app represents a new era for the brand, rewarding its most loyal customers by offering them an exceptional experience and a wide range of exclusive benefits. In fact, it goes beyond a simple loyalty programme: it is a recognition and commitment to customers to make their days brighter and every visit even more rewarding.
Starbucks Rewards is already a success in all the countries where it is present, and is considered one of the best retail loyalty programmes in existence and one of the most committed to its members. Alsea is confident that it will be well received by the Spanish public, in line with the 2.5 million members of Club Vips and the 1.7 million members of Fosterianos.

Through the Starbucks Rewards app, customers can earn stars with every purchase made at participating shops. These stars can be redeemed for free drinks and other exclusive Starbucks products, as well as access to special promotions, exclusive events and payments through the Starbucks mobile app, without having to wait in line.
Every euro spent at Starbucks will be converted into 100 stars in the app. Once 3,000 stars are accumulated, members can redeem them for a free drink of their choice prepared by a barista. In addition, the most loyal members will enjoy additional benefits when they upgrade to Gold membership once they achieve 10,000 stars in 12 months.
